The Fallows is not just a physical structure here on Lake Adney, but a movement that invites the living of our values of disruption, collapse, rest, remembering and delight season to season.
To this end, please explore ways to invest and receive Fallows care wherever you are:
sunflower stays
As of September 2026, The Fallows will be moving from the more generalized community care stay model that you may already have utilized, to what we are calling Sunflower Stays, named in honor of Fallows founder Bri Dunbar's brother, Graham, who passed in a tragic accident in 2018.
In the weeks following Graham’s death when life was felt flipped upside down, Bri was gifted time at a family member’s cabin to tend to the aftershocks and trauma right when she needed it most.
We know first-hand the healing that comes from being held by healing spaces after life shatters and we look forward to providing up to 12 Sunflower Stays each year.
Graham was a lover of life and embodied the energy of a sunflower as it tracks the sun across the sky each day. He was deeply generous and big-hearted. Our hope is to gift a Sunflower Stay every month to a different individual/family in honor of Graham’s legacy and the Fallow values.

Purpose: Sunflower Stays exist for those who have been knocked off their feet by life and who are in deep need of a moment to catch their breath. This is a chance to be cared for if you’re going through something difficult and unexpected- the diagnosis you didn’t want, the news you didn’t anticipate, the phone call that flipped your world or the setting down of a life path you never expected to have to let go of.
Rate: Sunflower Stays start at $250 to cover the basic expenses and cleaning fees
Availability: Sunflower Stays are available once a month for individuals, partners or families. Our Sunflower Stays take place Sundays-Thursdays.
