book your stay
at granddad cabin
The Fallows cabin has truly been a communal effort and dream woven in each floor board to ceiling beams overhead. Lovingly named 'Granddad Cabin' to honor the generational hands that built every inch of this space.
Everything touched in this space is designed with your care in mind--we hope you'll not only catch your breath as you unpack and settle in, but will also find a deeper exhale and spaciousness in whatever you’ve been holding:
“It’s not the weight you carry but how you carry it – books, bricks, grief – it’s all in the way you embrace it, balance it, carry it when you cannot, and would not, put it down.”
-Mary Oliver

why fallow stays?
The nervous system heals in safety not pressure; when given the space and the support to regulate and integrate at its own pace, time and capacity.
-Ally Wise
We believe the land is our first parent, a place of deep wisdom, connection and healing and true rest that is critical for us as human beings. What we also know from our combined background of 20+ years in the mental health field and lived experience that our bodies and nervous systems thrive in spaciousness, not pressure. Therefore we intentionally offer 3-night, 4-night or week-long stays for our guests to help foster this experience for each guest.
We believe this prioritizes and allows you the experience of not just catching your breath as you unpack and settle in, but also finding a deeper exhale and space to connect, truly rest and digest whatever you’ve been holding (*note: if you think your life won’t allow you to step away for more than an overnight, then we’d especially like to recommend the full week--and we have supports to help you make that happen-see below!).
The Fallows is not meant to be a quick getaway; in a time where we have infinite options for ‘quick and curated getaways’ we hope this space will be an investment and experience for each guest. We believe you are worth that investment and care. Our sincere hope is that this space will not just be the four walls around you, but an experience that stays with you.
COMMUNITY CARE at Fallows
As of September 2026, The Fallows will be moving from the more generalized community care stay model that you may already have utilized, to what we are calling Sunflower Stays: created for those who have been knocked off their feet by life and who are in deep need of a moment to catch their breath. PET POLICY
At this time, we are only welcoming human guests. *If you have a service animal, please contact us to give us a heads up so we can accommodate you.
